I mentioned Messenger spacecraft when was talking about Mercury, the least studied Solar System planet. Today I discovered another awesome website, thanks to the Bad Astronomy blog. After looking at the pictures you will know exactly what does “rocket science” mean (complicated stuff). There is a mix of spacecraft preparation and Mercury planet pictures, all amazing as always. It’s always a mystery for me how come spacecrafts work so well in such difficult conditions as space and so far away from the people who manages them (the post about distances in space will follow soon :-). I personally liked the picture of Delta II rocket the most, what’s your favorite?
